I create tools I know students and teachers love! I’m always brainstorming ways to make teachers’ lives a little easier. I also look for ways to increase student engagement with the material. Why spend hours trying to create an activity here and there? See below how you can save time and have standards-aligned activities ready to go!
Below are all of my resources that align to each and every 3rd Grade Tennessee Science standard. They can be used for introducing a standard, review, test prep, and more!

Guided Notes
First up, Guided Notes. They are a lifesaver, especially if you have students who get writing fatigue during whole-group lessons. These are quick, easy, printable notes that go along with the Google Slides (see below). It also includes two options- with word banks or without! I always tried to be as hands-on as possible with my Science instruction, but I also knew how important it was for students to build a foundation of science concepts with direct instruction.
I’m also a big fan of interactive notebooks, but sometimes the simple direction of cut and paste can take away from the limited time you already have to teach Science! Guided Notes eliminate the barrier of prep time and allow you and your students to dig right in.

PowerPoints
The next thing you’ll need are these PowerPoint Slides you can use as an information source for students to complete activities! While you are delivering the content, your students are simultaneously engaged and following along with their notes.
