I create tools I know students and teachers love! I’m always brainstorming ways to make teachers’ lives a little easier. I also look for ways to increase student engagement with the material. Why spend hours trying to create an activity here and there? See below how you can save time and have standards-aligned activities ready to go!

Guided Notes
First up, Guided Notes. They are a lifesaver, especially if you have students who get writing fatigue during whole-group lessons. These are quick, easy, printable notes that go along with the Google Slides (see below). It also includes two options- with word banks or without! I always tried to be as hands-on as possible with my Science instruction, but I also knew how important it was for students to build a foundation of science concepts with direct instruction.

Google Slides Presentation for 5th Grade Tennessee Science
The next thing you’ll need are these Google Slides you can use as an information source for students to complete activities! Before you say you don’t use Google Slides, know that this 275 slide presentation can also be downloaded as a PowerPoint. While you are delivering the content, your students are simultaneously engaged and following along with their notes.

I teach 5th grade Science and Social Studies in Tennessee. I have used your Social Studies slides and notes along with Gallopade this year and love it. I just now found the Science resources.
